Archery NSW have an extensive set of Perpetual Trophies that are awarded each year at the annual presentation dinner.

Presidents Cup - Introduced for the Calendar Year - 2000

This trophy is awarded to the highest aggregate score of all competitors registered to the Society through one club competing in the State Open Target Championships, regardless of which division they are competing in.

Now that the state open and junior/masters target tournaments are 'separate' events they are both counted in the calculation for this award.

 


Janet Wilks Memorial Trophy - Introduced 1994

Veteran of the Year

Awarded to the Veteran/Master archer who has obtained the highest ranking in the NSW Sportsperson of the Year Award. Points are awarded from placing's gained at tournaments on the Archery NSW Calendar.

General Tournaments:3 points for 1st place, 2 points for 2nd place, 1 point for 3rd place

Championship events:5 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, 1 point for 3rd place


The Ross Herron Shield Introduced - 1998.

Awarded to the “best performed Club’

A Club will accrue 3 points for each of its members who achieve a Divisional First Place, 2 points for each of its members who achieve a Divisional Second Place, and 1 point for each of its member who achieve a Divisional Third Place.

Disabled Archer of the Year Award

Award is Open to all age groups Junior, Open and Veterans. Points are awarded for placing's gained in a tournament….10 points for being in the top 25%, 7.5 points for the next 25% etc.,A minimum of 3 tournaments (ArcheryNSW only) must be entered with the total being divided by the number of tournaments to achieve an average. Example:The person with the highest number average will be the winner of the award.


Junior Allround Awards

Trophies are awarded on the following criteria

3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, 1 point for 3rd placings gained at any of the following events contested - Target, Field, Clout& Indoor. Should two archers tie with the same point score, then the aggregate score is used for those archers only to award a winner./

Following trophies are awarded on a point system for U/18& U/16 age groups.

  • Overall Junior Boy Recurve Les Jones memorial trophy
  • Overall Junior Girl Recurve
  • Overall Junior Boy Compound Troy Adams Memorial trophy
  • Overall Junior Girl Compound Troy Adams Memorial trophy
  • Best Allround Intermediate Recurve Arthur Chapman Trophy
  • Best Allround Intermediate Compound
  • Best Allround U/12 Champion
  • The following trophies are awarded on aggregate scores taken from Target, Field, Clout& Indoor.
  • Best Allround Junior Compound Boy
  • Best Allround Junior Compound Girl
  • Best Allround Junior Recurve Boy
  • Best Allround Junior Recurve Girl

Target

Awarded to the archer who has obtained the highest score in the Open discipline regardless of Division:

  • Mens Recurve Target Champion
  • Ladies Recurve Target Champion
  • Mens Compound Target Champion
  • Ladies Compound Target Champion

Awarded to the highest score obtained in the Junior State Target Championships  by a Female Recurve archer regardless of age and round being shot. 

  • Overall Junior Girl Target Recurve Champion – Grace Drake Memorial Trophy 

Awarded to the highest score obtained in the Junior State Target Championships  by a Male Recurve archer regardless of age and round being shot. 

  • Overall Junior Boy Target Recurve Champion – Tony Marturano Memorial Trophy 

Compound

Awarded on the following criteria 3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, 1 point for 3rd placings gained at any of the following events contested - Target, Field, Clout& Indoor. Should two archers tie with the same point score, then the aggregate score is used for those archers only to award a winner.

  • Men's Allround Compound Champion
  • Ladie's Allround Compound Champion

Field

Awarded to the archer who has obtained the highest score in the following disciplines regardless of age, shoot from the red peg.

  • Men's Recurve Freestyle Field Champion
  • Lady's Recurve Freestyle Field Champion
  • Men's Compound Freestyle Field Champion
  • Lady's Compound Freestyle Field Champion

Recurve

Trophies are awarded on the following criteria

3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, 1 point for 3rd placings gained at any of the following events contested - Target, Field, Clout& Indoor.

Should two archers tie with the same point score, then the aggregate score is used for those archers only to award a winner.

  • Men's Allround Recurve Champion Laurie Drake memorial Trophy
  • Lady's Allround Recurve Champion
  • Most Proficient Lady Recurve Archer Trophy

Clout

Awarded to the archer who has obtained the highest score in the Open Division:

  • Clout Champion Perpetual Trophy Winner Men Recurve 
  • Ladies Recurve Clout Champion
  • Mens Compound Clout Champion
  • Ladies Compound Clout Champion

Indoor

Awarded to the archer who has obtained the highest score in the following disciplines regardless of age.

  • Outright Male Indoor Recurve Champion
  • Outright Female Indoor Recurve Champion
  • Outright Male Compound Indoor Champion
  • Outright Female Compound Indoor Champion
